This one made me cry, Joe. My daddy sounds a lot like yours, but he was in Vietnam, not WWII.

I miss him but he was just the same. Went out of his way to make a good life for his family, be the best we could be with whatever we had. We all ended up living unspectacular lives and we've loved every minute of it.
