I have a whole pile of notebooks I write in. I didn’t know they were called Commonplace or had any kind of name, but I’ve always got one with me somewhere. I have one in my purse, one on the couch next to me, and about 6 of them in the little magazine rack next to my couch.

I write all kinds of things in my notebooks, by hand with a pen or pencil. It just feels more natural.
