Awww, thank you, Sweetheart. I know I’m never going to be the next big thing in writing and I’m okay with that. I love being a writer, but I think you are the first person to ever call me an artist. I love that.

I would have loved listening to your grandmother’s stories. My grandmother was the one who taught me how to crochet and I’d listen to her stories. But her stories all centered around being a poor kid from Eastern Nebraska during the depression. Kids today have no idea what real hardships really are.
